Memberships
Allowing players to become Members of your organisation boasts many benefits.
- Builds loyalty and community
- Provides recurring revenue
- Adds credibility
- Offer Members only perks/events
Darts Atlas allows you to manage all league memberships directly within the platform. This guide covers invitations, payments, renewals and member-only access.
Inviting Members
You can invite new members by entering their email address directly into the system.
Darts Atlas creates an organisation Invitation for them automatically. If they don’t already have an account, they’ll be invited to join the platform at the same time.
Once they accept your invitation, their unique Member ID is generated automatically and their membership expiration is set to one year from that date.
Paid Memberships
Setting up a Membership fee is a great way to generate revenue for your organisation.
Once your organisation is set up - head to Settings. Here you will see a option for ‘Annual Membership Fee’ You will need to set up a Stripe account linked to the organisation.
To do this follow the link below the Membership Fee option or go to Payments in the Organisation Admin Menu. For more details on how to set up platform payments Click Here
Membership Renewals
Existing members who renew through Darts Atlas have their membership automatically extended by one year from their current expiration date.
Example: If a membership expires on 1 January 2022 but is renewed on 15 December 2021, the updated expiration date becomes 1 January 2023—not 15 December 2022.
This ensures members don’t lose time by renewing early.
Season and Tournament Access
Set any event to “Members Only” to restrict registration to active league members.
If a membership lapses between registration and the event date, that player can still participate unless manually removed by an administrator.
This prevents players from being locked out due to administrative timing issues, whilst still maintaining membership requirements for initial registration.
