Checking for an Existing Venue

Before creating a new venue, it’s always worth checking whether it already exists in Darts Atlas. This avoids duplication and keeps all venue history together in one place.

To check, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Search in the main menu
  2. Select Venues in the top navigation bar
  3. Enter either the venue name or location
  4. Hit Search
  5. Scroll through the results to see if your venue already exists

If it does, you can use it directly to assign to your competitions and leagues.

If it doesn’t exist, follow the steps below to create a new one.

Create a Venue

To create a venue, press the Create button in the menu bar, then select Create Venue from the list.

Enter your venue name and address — be as accurate as possible — then press Validate.

Darts Atlas will now provide a location via Google Maps. Ensure the pin is in the correct place and press Confirm. If the pin is not accurate, adjust your address to better reflect your venue’s location — this may include adding a postcode.

Your venue is now created and can be assigned to any tournaments or leagues you have set up.
